About
Primarily a studwork timber, this product has been milled from a slow grown, premium quality imported Redwood, originating from the Baltic states. Due to the cooler climate in which it’s grown, it has a tighter grain structure and is suitable for structural applications conforming to BS 4978 “C16” visual grading. This product has a Planed All Round (PAR) finish to the faces and bevelled edges for ease of handling, and finished dimensions compliant to the “Canadian Lumber Standard” to suit joinery applications. Untreated, this product is only suitable for dry / internal use. In addition, this product has been kiln dried to reduce the moisture content to below 20% which helps to prevent the timber from warping.
