About
Our 32x125mm 3.6m Treated Softwood Decking Board – Castellated is a practical, attractive and cost-effective choice for creating garden decking, patios, raised seating areas and outdoor entertaining spaces. Manufactured from softwood and pressure treated to help protect against fungal decay and insect attack, these timber decking boards provide a durable solution for residential gardens and landscaping projects.
The castellated surface features a series of evenly spaced, rectangular grooves running along the length of the board, creating a distinctive textured finish that complements both traditional and contemporary outdoor spaces. The raised, flat-topped sections and recessed grooves add depth and visual interest to the finished deck, while the natural timber grain and knots give each board its own individual character. The reverse profile may vary depending on the manufacturer.
With a nominal size of 32x125mm and a length of 3.6 metres, these boards are suitable for constructing new timber decks, extending existing decking areas and replacing worn or damaged boards. The approximate finished dimensions are 27x120mm, although slight variations may occur depending on the manufacturer.
The pressure treatment helps extend the service life of the timber when installed and maintained correctly. Like all natural softwood decking, the boards will gradually weather to a silver-grey appearance when exposed to sunlight and the elements. Applying a suitable decking oil or protective coating can help maintain the desired appearance and protect the surface from weathering.
Suitable for DIY enthusiasts, professional landscapers and building contractors alike, these castellated treated softwood decking boards offer an economical and versatile way to transform outdoor spaces. Available from Simply Timber, with delivery across England.
Please note: Decking profiles, groove patterns and finished dimensions may vary between manufacturers and suppliers. If you need to match existing decking, please contact us before placing your order so we can confirm compatibility.
