Knauf Acoustic Roll Ready-Cut 100mm is an unfaced glass mineral wool insulation roll designed for use in suitable internal partitions, separating floors and other specified acoustic constructions. This variant is 10.3m long and 1200mm wide, with two 600mm ready-cut sections, and covers approximately 12.36m² per roll.
The glass mineral wool helps absorb sound within an appropriately designed wall or floor system. The actual acoustic performance of a finished partition or ceiling depends on its complete construction, including boards, studs, fixings, junctions and sealing. The product has a declared Euroclass A1 reaction-to-fire classification.
The 100mm roll allows for deeper stud or floor-void installations where the system design calls for a 100mm mineral-wool layer.
Choose the correct thickness for the construction void, fit the insulation without significant gaps and follow the manufacturer's advice for cutting and handling. Allow for site wastage and the differences between nominal coverage and the installed net area.
