This aluminium foil insulation tape is supplied as a single nominal 50mm-wide, 45m-long roll. It is intended for taping suitable joints and local details on compatible foil-faced insulation boards and related building materials.
Foil tape can help create a neat surface finish at abutting board joints, penetrations and edge details when used as specified within a compatible insulation or vapour-control system. Whether a tape is suitable for a particular foil facing, substrate or vapour-control requirement depends on its adhesive and the manufacturer-approved installation method.
Apply only to clean, dry surfaces as directed by the tape manufacturer. Allow sufficient overlap, pressure and surface preparation, and consider the ambient conditions under which the tape will be fitted.
Adhesive type, temperature resistance, fire performance and vapour-control classification have not been confirmed for the generic product. These properties should not be assumed until the precise supplier tape has been selected. Check the product specification before purchase.
