ROCKWOOL RWA45 50mm acoustic insulation slabs are semi-rigid, unfaced stone wool panels supplied in a pack of 9. Each slab measures 1200 x 600mm, and the pack covers approximately 6.48m² before cuts and waste.
RWA45 is designed for acoustic and thermal insulation in suitable internal partitions, ceilings, floors and other specified building elements. It has a nominal density of 45kg/m³, a declared thermal conductivity of 0.035 W/mK and Euroclass A1 reaction-to-fire classification.
At 50mm thick, these slabs are useful for specified shallow partition and ceiling voids where a semi-rigid mineral wool slab is required.
For sound-control applications, performance depends on the complete tested or specified wall, floor or ceiling construction. Euroclass A1 refers to reaction to fire; it is not a standalone hourly fire-resistance rating for a slab.
Measure the installation void, allow for cutting and fitting around services, and install in accordance with the current ROCKWOOL technical literature and project requirements.
