18x144mm 4.2m Primed MDF Skirting - Torus Profile

About

Our 18x144mm 4.2m Primed MDF Torus Skirting Board is a popular choice for creating a neat, professional finish where internal walls meet the floor. Manufactured from Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF), this skirting offers a smooth, consistent surface without the natural knots, grain variations or imperfections commonly found in traditional timber skirting. The classic Torus profile features a decorative rounded moulding, making it suitable for both modern and traditional interiors. With its taller 144mm height, this skirting provides a more prominent, decorative finish, making it particularly suitable for rooms with higher ceilings, larger living spaces, hallways and period-style properties.

Measuring 18mm thick, 144mm high and 4200mm long, these MDF skirting boards are supplied pre-primed, providing a smooth base ready for finishing with your chosen interior paint. The 4.2m lengths help minimise joints along longer walls, creating a cleaner appearance and reducing installation time. MDF is also easy to cut, mitre and fix using suitable grab adhesives or mechanical fixings, making it a practical option for professional carpenters, builders, property developers and DIY projects.

Designed for internal use only, this primed MDF skirting is ideal for new builds, renovations, property refurbishments and replacing existing skirting boards. It offers a cost-effective, low-maintenance alternative to solid timber, with a uniform finish that is easy to decorate. The taller profile also provides additional wall coverage, making it useful when replacing older skirting or concealing minor imperfections along the base of internal walls. Please note that this product may be supplied with a double-sided profile depending on availability.

Please note: Moulding profiles may vary between manufacturers and may not exactly match existing skirting boards, architraves or windowboards. If an exact profile match is required, please contact us before ordering to confirm suitability.
